Note: Cross between raspberry and blackberry by John Sedan, can tolerate poorly drained soil, but is vulnerable to severe frosts, Zone: 6.
Boysenberry - H: 5-6ft, W: 4-6ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Sweet and tangy large red/purple berries that ripen in late July and can be used for cobblers, pies, and preserves, Note: A cross between blackberries, loganberries, and raspberries, Zone: 5-9.
Boysenberry #43 - H: 5-6ft, W: 4-6ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Sweet and tangy large red/purple berries that ripen in late July and can be used for cobblers, pies, and preserves, Note: A selected vigorous seedling, Zone: 5-9.
Chester - H: 4 -5ft, W: 3-4ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Large fruit that holds up to heat and ripens July/August, Note: Self-pollinating, thornless, resistant to cane blight, Zone: 5-8.
Dewberry - H: 3ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Small black fruit similar to blackberries that ripen in May/June. Self-pollinating, Zone: 6-10.
Douglas Thornless - H: 8 ft, W: 8ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Large, firm blackberries of high quality that ripen around mid-July and harvest lasts about 20 days once it starts. Note: This variety was developed by the USDA from a hand-pollinated cross between Sander and Lawrence varieties of blackberries and released in 1994 by Mr. Barney Douglass. Vines are high yielding. Zone: 6.

Riwaka's Choice - H: 4-6ft, W: 4-6ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Intense flavored red/purple berries. Note: A New Zealand boysenberry cultivar and self-pollinating, Zone: 5-10.
