Garden (Allium schoenoprasum)  - H: 8-18 inches, W: 8-12 inches, Sun: Part to full, Zone: 3-8, Description: Thin onion like leaves and purple flowers with the same flavor as onion. Uses: Leaves can be used to flavor dishes and flowers can be used to garnish dishes. Flowers and leaves are good for stimulating appetite and digestion. Note: Perennial and a good source of iron. 
 
Garlic (Allium tuberosum) - H: 6-36 inches, W: 2 ft, Sun: Full, Zone: 4-8, Description: Flat onion like leaves  and white flowers that have a garlic like flavor. Uses: Leaves can be used as a substitute for garlic in recipes. Flowers can be used as a garnish. Note: Perennial. 
 
Nira (Allium tuberosum)  - H: 10-12 inches, W: N/A, Zone: 3-9, Description Flat onion like leaves and white flowers that have garlic like flavor. Uses: Leaves are traditionally used in a wide range of Japanese dishes. Note: These plants are perennial and have a short dormancy period.
