Adams - H: 6-10ft, W: 6-8ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Large clusters of small, sweet berries that ripen in August, Note: Should use John as a pollinator, Zone: 3-9.
 
Bob Gordon - H: 6-8ft, W: 6-8ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Larger and sweeter than most cultivars and uniformly ripen in September, Note: Stems can be mowed down each year once dormant. Needs another variety of Elderberry as a pollinator, Zone: 4-10.
 
Dr. Way - H: 6-10 ft, W: 6-12 ft, Sun: Part to full, Fruit: Large clusters of average size berries that ripen uniformly in September - October. Note: Developed by Dr. Way at Cornell University. Needs another variety of elderberry as a pollinator, Zone: 5.
 
Johns - H: 6-10ft, W: 6-8ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Large clusters of large berries that ripen mid-August, Note: Cold hardy and best pollinator for other elderberry varieties, Zone: 3-9.
 
Maximum - H: 6 -10ft, W: N/A, Sun: Full, Fruit: Large berries that ripen in August, Note: Developed by Cornell University. Needs another variety or Elderberry as a pollinator, Zone: 3-10.
 
Nova - H: 6-10ft, W: 6-8ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Sweet berries that ripen in August, Note: Good pollinator for other elderberry varieties and cold hardy, Zone: 4-8. 
 
Ranch - H: 5-6ft, W: N/A, Sun: Full, Fruit: Ripens in late August/early September, Note: Needs Nova or York as a pollinator, cold hardy, drought tolerant, and tolerant of poor soils, Zone: 3-8.
 
Scotia - H: 6-8ft, W: 6-8ft Sun: Full, Fruit: Medium size sweet berries that ripen in July and have the highest sugar content of all the varieties. Note: Needs another Elderberry variety as a pollinator, Zone: 3.
 
Wyldewood - H: 5-8ft, W: 5-8ft, Sun: Part to full, Fruit: Small berries on large clusters that ripen in August, Note: Needs Ranch or Bob Gordon as pollinator, tolerant of poor soil, ad can be mowed to ground once dormant, Zone: 4-8.
 
York - H: 6-10ft, W: 6-8ft, Sun: Part to full, Fruit: Soft, dark purple/black berries that ripen in August and are good for cooking, preserves, and wine. Note: Needs another elderberry variety as a pollinator, Zone: 4-8.
 

Shipping only available in NY State between May 31st and October 31st. Pickup of potted plants available on the farm or at farmers' market after May 31st and before October 31st.
