These are the varieties of European elderberries which we offer in 1 gal pots:

 

Goldbeere – H: 6-12 ft, W: 6-12 ft, Sun: Part to full, Fruit: Clusters of green/yellow berries that ripen late summer to early fall. Note: This variety is partially self-fertile but should be planted with another European variety of elderberry. Zone: 4-8.

 

Korsor - H: 8ft, W: N/A, Sun: Part to full, Fruit: Cluster of larger dark purple berries that are flavorful and juicy. The berries ripen in September. Note: One of the top producing european varieties. Also, this variety is partially self fertile, but should be planted with another variety or seeding of european elderberry for best pollination. Zone: 4-9. 

 

Samdal - H: 6-8ft, W: 2-5ft, Sun: Part to full, Fruit: Large clusters or black/dark purple berries with good flavor that ripen in August. Note: Developed in Denmark and uses Samyl as a pollinator, Zone: 3-7. 
 
Samyl - H: 6-8ft, W: 2-5ft, Sun: Pat to full, Fruit: Large clusters or black/dark purple berries with good flavor that ripen August. Plants produce a larger yield than Samyal. Note: Developed in Denmark and uses Samdal as a pollinator, Zone: 3-7. 

 

Shipping only available in NY State between May 31st and October 31st. Pickup of potted plants available on the farm or at farmers' market after May 31st and before October 31st.
