These are the varieties of grapes (Vitis spp.) we carry in 1 gal pots:

 

Canadice  - Vine Length: 8-10ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Medium size red grapes that are sweet and tangy. Ripens late August through early September. Fruit keeps long on the vine. Good for eating fresh, fruit salads, preserves, and wine. Note: Developed by Cornell University and self-pollinating. Zone: 4-8. 

 

Catawba - Vine Length: 15-25ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Medium size purple/red berries that ripen in September and are good for making champagne, juice, jelly, and wine, Note: Heirloom variety developed in the 1800s, Zone: 5-8. 

 

Delaware - Vine Length: 20-25ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Small red berries that are mild and fruity in flavor which ripen in early September and are used for champagne and wine. Note: Heirloom variety developed in the 1800s, Zone: 4. 

 

Einset Seedless - Vine Length: 10-15ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Firm, dark red grapes that are sweet and flavorful with a hint of strawberry like taste. Fruit ripens late August through early September and good for eating fresh and fruit salads. Note: Self-pollinating and developed by Cornell University. Zone: 5.

 

Glenora Seedless - Vine Length: 10-12ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Long clusters of dark blue grapes that ripen early to mid-September. Grapes are sweet and spicy in flavor. Note: Developed in NY and self-pollinating. Zone 5-9. 

 

Himrod Seedless - Vine Length: 8-10ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Green/yellow fruit that is crunchy and sweet. Good for fresh eating and raisins, Note: Good variety for cold short summer areas. Developed at the NY State Agricultural Research station in Geneva, NY and release in 1952. Zone: 4-10. 

 

Marquis Seedless - Vine Length: 4-6ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Green grapes that are flavorful and good for desserts, fresh eating, and preserves. Ripens mid to late September. Note: Self-pollinating and developed by Cornell University in Geneva, NY. Zone: 5-8.

 

Niagara - Vine Length: 12-25ft, Sun: Full, Fruit: Sweet green/yellow berries that ripen mid/late September and are good for eating fresh, jelly, juice, and wine, Note: Self-pollinating, Zone: 5-8.

 

Shipping only available in NY State between May 31st and October 31st. Pickup of potted plants available on the farm or at farmers' market after May 31st and before October 31st.
