These are the following varieties of lavender we offer in 3.5/4.5 inch pots:

 

Arctic Snow (Lavandula angustifolia) - H: 1-2 ft, W: 1-2 ft, Sun: FUll, Zone: 5a -10b, Description: Bushy plants with grey/green foliage and white flowers. Uses: FLowers can be used in teas, baking, beauty products and more. Note: Plants are perennial, drought resistant, and deer resistant. Also, plants need to be planted in well drained soils. 

 

Bridget Chole (Lavandula x intermedia) - H: 2-3 ft, W: 5ft, Sun: Full, Zone: 4a-7b, Description: Bushy plants with grey/green foliage and fragrant blue/purple flower stalks. Uses: Flowers can be used in teas, baking, beauty products, sachets and more. Note: Sport of the Provence variety of lavender and in 2021 was given the Gold Award of Excellence by the International Perfume Foundation. Plants are lavender leaf spot and alfalfa mosaic virus resistant. Also, plants need very well drained soils.

 

Dutch (Lavandula x intermedia) - H: 1-2ft, W: 3-6 inches, Sun: Full, Zone: 5-9, Description: Short bushy plants with silver/grey foliage and purple flower spikes. Uses: Flowers can be used in teas, baking, beauty products, sachets and more. Note: This variety is related to Fred Boutin, Grosso, and Provence. Plants need well drained soils. 

 

Edelweiss (Lavandula x intermedia) - H: 2-3 ft, W: 2-3 ft, Sun: Full, Zone: 5-10, Description: Bushy plants with silver/grey foliage with white flower spikes. Uses: Flowers can be used in teas, baking, beauty products, and more. Note: There plants are perennials, deer resistant and drought resistant. Also, plants need well drained soils. 

 

Grosso or Fat Spike ( Lavandula x intermedia) - H: 2-3 ft, W: 1-2 ft, Sun: Full, Zone: 5-9, Description: Bushy plant with narrow grey/green leaves and spikes of extremely fragrant violet flowers. Uses: Deep violet flowers are good for use in baking and making ice cream. Flowers and leaves can be used to potpourri and sachets. Note: Perennial, Deer and drought resistant. Also, plants need well drained soils. 

 

Hidcote (Lavandula angustifolia) - H: 1-2 ft, W: 1-2 ft, Sun: Full, Zone: 5-9, Description: Mounds of silver narrow leaves with deep violet/blue flowers. Uses: Flowers are one of the best for culinary use and pairs well in seasoning alongside rosemary, sage, savory, and thyme. Note: Compact English variety of lavender. Perennial. Deer, drought, and rabbit resistant. Also, plants need well drained soils. 

 

Munstead (Lavandula angustifolia) - H: 1-2 ft, W: 1-2 ft, Sun: Full, Zone: 5-9, Description & Uses: Both flowers and leaves are edible. Flowers can be used to make cakes, cocktails, cookies, jellies, and seasonings. A very good variety to make oil and perfume from. Note: One of the hardier lavender varieties and able to adjust to a wide range of soils and growing conditions. Perennial. Deer and drought resistant. 


Provence (Lavandula x Intermedia) - H: 2-3ft, W: 2-3ft, Sun: Full, Zone: 5-9, Description: Bushy plant with grey/silver foliage and mauve/purple flower spikes. Uses: Flowers can be used for baking, beauty care products. perfume, potpourri, sachets, seasoning, tea, and more. Note: One of the most fragrant lavender varieties. Tolerant of poor soils but needs well drained soil. Plants are heat tolerant, rabbit resistant, and deer resistant.

 

Plants are available for pickup and shipping between May 31st and October 31st.
