Alaska Mix - H: 10-12 inches, W: N/A, Sun: Full, Zone: N/A, Description: Compact mounding plant with green and white variegated lily pad shaped leaves and bright colored flowers. Uses: Flowers are peppery and can be added to salads. Note: This variety is good for containers, hanging baskets, and window boxes. Plants are native to South America. 

 

Black Velvet - H: 1 ft, W: N/A, Sun: Full, Zone: N/A, Description: Mounding plants with green lily pad shaped leaves and dark red/mahogany flowers. Uses: Flowers and leave are edible and can be added to salads and other dishes. Note: Annual plant which originates from South America. 

 

Empress of India - H: 12-16 inches, W: 2ft, Sun: Full, Zone: 10b, Description: A mounding plant with dark green lily pad shaped leaves and bright red saucer shaped flowers. Both flowers and leaves have a peppery taste. Note: Leaves can be used as garnishes on cream soups or in herb butters and spreadable cheeses. Flowers can be used on cakes and platters, as well as stuffed with cheese for appetizers or used to flavor vinegars. Note: Flowers and leaves are a source of antioxidants and vitamin C. Plants are also native to South America. 

 

Jewel Mix- H: 12-16 inches, W: 2ft, Sun: Full, Zone: 10b, Description: A mounding plant with green lily pad shaped leaves and bright color flowers in the shades of red, orange, yellow, pink, and more. Both leaves and flowers have a peppery taste. Uses: Flowers and leaves can be added to salads. Flowers of this variety also make long lasting garnishes. Seeds can also be ground and used like black pepper. Note: Plant is native to South America. 

 

Tall Climbing Mix - H: 6 ft, W: N/A, Sun: Full, Zone: N/A, Description: Climbing plants with green lily pad shaped leaves and bright colored flowers in shades of orange and  yellow. Uses: Both flowers and leaves can be eaten and added to dishes. Note: These plants are native to South America. 

 

Plants are available for pickup and shipping between May 31st and October 31st.
